Thebaseballbash is written for people who plan their weekends around baseball. If your business helps them get to the park, eat well, stay somewhere comfortable, gear up a kid or chase a card, you'll probably find your customers here.
Who reads the site
We're a new publication, so we won't throw made-up traffic numbers at you. What we can tell you is who we write for: MLB and minor-league fans planning ballpark trips, families with kids in youth and travel baseball, tournament parents booking hotel blocks, college baseball fans, card collectors and stat fans. Our coverage leans toward South Carolina and the Southeast, with the Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach close to home, and reaches every big-league market. Ask us for current analytics when you get in touch and we'll share what we have.
Ad formats
- Leaderboard (728 by 90). Runs under the main navigation and between sections on most pages.
- Square (300 by 250). Appears in sidebars and inside long stories, a paragraph away from anything else.
- Skyscraper (160 by 600). Sticky in the sidebar on desktop screens.
- Sponsored articles. Written to our normal standards and labeled as sponsored at the top. No exceptions.
We keep ads off legal pages and away from the opening lines of a story. That's better for readers, and it means your ad shows up next to content people actually came to read.
Editorial independence
Advertisers don't get to edit, approve or kill stories. A sponsor can't buy a good review of a ballpark, a product or a tournament. If we think something's overpriced or overrated, we'll still say so.
